Holly Hill Quilt Designs evolved through Mary Jane Carey's love of quilting.  Coming from a long line of quilters, including her namesake - her Great-Grandmother Mary Jane - the first quilting endeavor was a quilt made in 1970 from bed sheets because quilting fabrics were not readily available at that time.   Mary Jane started out selling quilts she made and.the quilting side of the business grew from a small side line selling handmade quilts to a full fledged quilting business.  Mary Jane is a fabric designer for Henry Glass Fabrics.  You can view her collections at www.henryglassfabrics.net.    The love of quilting, and especially quilts with applique, have warmed our hearts here at Holly Hill Quilt Designs and we hope they will warm yours too.
